A 3 generation Pedigree is placed on the HPA Registration Certificates itself at no additional charge.

Pedigrees placed on the HPA Registration Certificates are generated from information submitted over generations of registrations by HPA breeders.
Ever Pedigree issued is based on information submitted by Breeders and is deemed accurate to the best of our knowledge.

Additional Pedigrees up to 6 generations are available, to the HPA registered owner, of good standing, of a dog, as shown in the HPA database.

2 Generation:

consisting of  Dog & Parents  comes on registration certificate.

3 Generation:

consisting of Dog, Parents and Grandparents comes on registration certificate.

4 Generation - $150.00

may not include colours and/or registration numbers of all dogs in pedigree.

5 Generation - $1000.00

may not include colours and/or registration numbers of all dogs in pedigree.

There are 30 dogs in a 5 generation pedigree.

6 Generation - $2500.00

may not include colours and/or registration numbers of all dogs in pedigree.

There are 62 dogs in a 6 generation pedigree.

For knowledge purposes there are:

126 ancestors - 7th generation

254 ancestors  - 8th generation

510 ancestors - 9th generation

1022 anestors - 10th generation

So 1 dog documented with 10 generations gives a

registry 1022 documented dogs.

Documented Pedigree dogs.

Pedigrees are considered private property of the HPA and protected by copyright law.
